Auchincruive - River Ayr

Ayrshire is well placed to offer our guests a wonderful selection of things to do.

There are many visitor attractions, castles and historic trails abound with many famous sites of interest to explore plus plenty of family attractions and outdoor sports facilities.

A visit to Ayrshire would not be complete without a visit our very splendid Culzean Castle, nearby Dundonald Castle and other country parks, not forgetting Kelburn Castle and Dean Castle.

For families we have an excellent outdoor playpark at the Low Green and indoor playcentre, Pirate Petes, a short car drive from Queens Terrace and there is Heads of Ayr Farm Park, in Largs there is Vikingar, and at Galston we have Loudoun Castle Theme Park. Our local leisure centre The Citadel is a 5 minute walk.

We have many beautiful walks nearby including the Carrick Hills, Auchincruive Estate and the newly opened Ayr River Walk which is a waymarked 66 km route from source, at Glenbuck near Muirkirk, to sea (at Ayr) which takes in some of Ayrshire's most stunning scenery.
